If you are building, fencing, planting trees or doing any work that involves digging in the vicinity of underground electric cables then call our 0800 number for a cable location.

If the cables are network owned, the service will be rendered free of charge. Any customer owned cable locations or cable fault locations are charged at the applicable rate.

If any similar work means that you are likely to come close to any overhead lines then call faults to arrange a free disconnection and reconnection once the work has been completed.

Please schedule your work between 7.30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday to obtain the quality of service you desire. Work can be carried out any time outside these hours but will be charged at the applicable rate.
